Hate typescript. absolute worst thing that ever happened. It's awful for a lot of reasons, but the two biggest are this: typescript was written for C# developers that wouldn't learn js, im sorry but that's what it is. Typescript is everything that Javascript was designed not to be. In fact javascript isn't even the correct name. When it was being developed we had the same crap. people were pushing so hard to include features from java that the creator said "if you like java so damn much then just call this javascript". That's the same issue. Javascript being loose is the BEST THING ABOUT IT !!! Like that's exactly the point. second thing it's in no way necessary. What is TS really? Its a damn pre-processor. What does it actually produce once it's transpiled??? JAVASCRIPT !!! Pure vanilla JS, so what in the hell are people doing wrapping it with all this types crap? It literally does nothing to the end product except make development excruciating. If you could always opt out, it would be amazing. but companies got fanatical and demanded it without even thinking about the use case or consequences. Truly horrible idea.
